The Grant Park Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois seeks a full-time Patron Services Coordinator. This position reports to the Associate Director of Patron Services. The Patron Services Coordinator is a key member of the Grant Park Music Festival’s Patron Services team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to our community of loyal and enthusiastic patrons. The Patron Services Coordinator helps to develop strategies to increase patron retention, attract new members, and grow revenue. The Patron Services Coordinator takes initiative, thinks creatively, digs into data, and supports the Festival’s mission of enriching lives through the power of music.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning of the membership renewal, acquisition and One Night Pass campaigns.
• Manage targeted digital/phone outreach plan for membership renewals, stewarding patrons through renewal process and meeting campaign deadlines and goals.
• Process orders and exchanges; track and respond promptly to customer service inquiries and requests.
• Oversee Patron Service Center locations (Box Office) ensuring box office best practices; serve as primary customer service liaison to patrons during concerts.
• Maintain consistent and accurate Tessitura database entry and reporting standards; initiate routine database hygiene.
• Work on initiatives that build robust relationships between the organization and its patrons, enhancing the Festival’s patron engagement model

Candidate Qualifications

• Three years of professional experience in membership/ticketing/marketing/sales in the performing arts; non-profit performing arts organization experience is a plus
• A minimum of two years of customer service experience and/or work in a high-public-contact field
• Minimum one year of experience conducting Tessitura “mid-level” ticketing module activities
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and welcome people of all backgrounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Word and Excel) and computer tasks
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs; ability to work outdoors and possibly in inclement weather

Compensation/Benefits/Schedule

• $43,000 - $45,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
• Competitive benefits package includes 10 days paid vacation, ten paid holidays, four personal days, paid sick leave, comprehensive health, dental, vision and life insurance, and 403(b) retirement plan with 3.75% employer match after one year of employment.
• Nights and weekends are required during the Festival's summer season and for occasional organizational events during the year.
• Position Start Date: As soon as possible; work will be performed remotely until the Festival office reopens.
